Glad You’re Here
I started New Dawn Sober Living because I’ve seen the struggle up close—and I’ve seen what’s possible when people are given the right tools, structure, and support. While I’m not in recovery myself, I’ve had close friends, family, and team members who have been through it. Their experiences changed how I see the world and inspired me to be part of the solution.
What I noticed over and over is that too many people leave treatment with a desire to change—but without the real-world support they need to succeed. They’re motivated, but not equipped. They’re hopeful, but not connected. That’s where people fall through the cracks—and that’s what I wanted to help change.
I founded New Dawn Sober Living to be more than a place to stay. This is a structured, empowering environment built on accountability, life skills, and community. We focus on helping people build momentum in their recovery—not just maintain sobriety, but actually move forward in life.
We offer practical support in areas like financial literacy, employment, mentorship, business development, legal resources, and more—because recovery doesn’t stop at getting clean. It’s about building a life you can be proud of.
I believe in second chances. I believe in people. And I believe that with the right environment, anyone can rise.
Nathan McKee
Program Director
Hi, I’m Nathan McKee, the Program Director here at New Dawn Sober Living. I oversee the day-to-day operations and handle all admissions, making sure each resident is welcomed with clarity, structure, and compassion. My role involves everything from intake coordination and compliance to resident support and staff management—ensuring that the environment we provide is safe, stable, and conducive to long-term recovery.
With a strong background in operational management and behavioral support, I’m committed to creating a program that not only holds people accountable but also helps them grow in meaningful ways. I believe structure is healing, and consistency is one of the best gifts we can offer individuals rebuilding their lives.
Outside of work, I have a huge passion for geography and world history. I’m a bit of a map nerd—whether it’s a strategy game or reading about historical borders, I’m all in. I also collect flags from different countries and plan to start traveling the world soon to experience the places I’ve studied for years.
At New Dawn, I take pride in helping residents navigate both the challenges of early recovery and the opportunities that come with it. Whether it's helping someone through their first day in the house or guiding them toward personal and professional goals, I’m here to support the journey every step of the way.
Linda Moore
House Mom
I’m proud to serve as the House Mom here at New Dawn Sober Living. With over six years of experience in sober living environments, I’ve dedicated myself to helping others rebuild their lives one step at a time. I bring a balance of structure and compassion to the house because I know firsthand how difficult—but possible—recovery can be. I’m in recovery myself, so I understand the battles, the setbacks, and the victories that come with this journey.
I’m not just here to enforce the rules—I’m here to support our residents through real-life challenges, especially when it comes to navigating the legal system. I have extensive experience working with individuals on parole or who have open cases, and I do my best to guide them through the process while keeping them accountable.
Outside of the house, I’m a proud mother and the glue that holds my family together. And when I’m not caring for others, I’m usually with Ella—my sweet poodle who’s become a part of the New Dawn family, too.
I may be strict, but everything I do comes from a place of love, structure, and hope. Everyone deserves a second chance, and I’m here to help make that chance count.
